Flawless and Pawless is Ireland’s premier cruelty-free cosmetic site created by cruelty-free cosmetic expert, Ailsha Davey. With eight years working in the beauty industry in Dublin as a professional make-up artist and cosmetic expert, Ailsha discovered some of the horrors of cosmetic animal testing- and the lack of knowledge within the Irish market about it. The goal of Flawless and Pawless is to provide the Irish market with cruelty-free as well as vegan alternatives to their favourite cosmetic products, in attempt to make Ireland a cruelty-free country.
In March 2018, Ailsha was invited to attend Cruelty Free International’s Anniversary event at the House of European History in Brussels to celebrate five years of the ban for animal testing and marketing within the EU. Representing Ireland, Ailsha had the opportunity to meet and discuss the future prospect of global animal testing practices, and is working alongside the organisation to achieve a global ban on animal testing.
Flawless and Pawless has been featured on Goss.ie as ‘Ireland’s Leading Cruelty Free Blogger’ and on IndulgeMe.ie as an ‘IndulgeMe Insider’. Ailsha also works as the PR and Marketing Consultant for Skinfull Affairs, Dublin’s only cruelty-free and vegan beauty salon. More recently, Ailsha became the Irish ambassador for The Konjac Sponge Company, a 100% vegan and Leaping Bunny-certified cosmetic company.
All of the cosmetic products featured on the site have been sent to Flawless and Pawless to review. If you would like to have your cruelty-free and/or vegan brand featured on the site, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Some of the product links on Flawless and Pawless are affiliate links, which help to bring in a source of income to help continue the hard work that goes into the site.
