The Award-Winning Product That Protects and Perfects: Murad’s Invisiblur™

If you have searched far and wide for the perfect SPF for your face and décolletage, you know how difficult it can be to find a formula that complements the texture of your skin. From sticky residues to extreme flashback in photographs, SPF can be one of the trickiest cosmetic products to use- but it is the most important of them all!

Imagine there was not only the perfect SPF formula- one that melted onto your skin like silk- but a formula that also blurred any imperfections, primed and magnified the skin, and could even reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles?

This is where I present to you Invisiblur™ by the world’s leading clinical skincare brand, Murad. Created by Dr. Howard Murad in 1989, the cruelty-free brand has since released many ground-breaking skincare formulas as a luxury brand that is available in many Irish salons today. Murad have never tested any of their products on animals, nor have they ever used any ingredients that have been tested on animals. The brand is sold worldwide, and although they do sell in Hong Kong, they do not sell in mainland China, where it required by law to test foreign cosmetics on animals. PETA have even recommended some of the brand’s products in one of their cosmetic recommendation blog posts!

What’s in the Formula?

The silky-smooth formula consists of hero ingredients Shitake Mushroom and Mucor Miehei Peptides to encourage production of collagen and improve the elasticity of the skin, a Soft Focus Complex helps to blur imperfections and even out the skin’s texture to prime and create a flawless finish, and the magical ingredients of Sunflower, Cucumber and Barley extracts mimic the natural structure of the skin’s membrane. All of these ingredients work together to balance out the moisture levels in the skin, while reducing the appearances of fine lines, wrinkles and imperfections.

The Flawless and Pawless Verdict?

This product does indeed sound too good to be true. However, it ticks all of the boxes. Its handy pump system makes it easy to apply, and upon application, the formula glides across the skin like silk and melts across the face like butter. There is no greasy residue whatsoever, and the skin feels hydrated and smooth in a blanket of protection. Visually, the formula visibly mattifies the skin, blurs imperfections such as noticeable pores, and smile lines are primed against creasing throughout the day.

Awards for Invisiblur™ :

  • Winner of Best Primer at the Best Beauty by Stylist’ Awards 2016
  • Winner of Best New Skincare Product at Pure Beauty Awards 2015

This product is a cruelty-free gem that everyone should include in their skincare regime. Let me know if you try it out, I would love to hear how you get on!

Flawless and Pawless is Ireland's cruelty-free cosmetic blog created by 23 year-old cosmetic expert, Ailsha Davey. With eight years working in the beauty industry in Dublin as a professional make-up artist and cosmetic expert, Ailsha discovered some of the horrors of cosmetic animal testing- and the lack of knowledge within the Irish market about it. Flawless and Pawless has been set up to spread awareness across Ireland of cosmetic animal testing, as well as to provide suggestions for cruelty-free alternatives to the Irish market's favourite cosmetic products.
